Malia was almost always the big spoon when they cuddled, this time however she was more than content being wrapped in Kira’s warmth. Malia noses her girlfriend’s neck as Kira runs her fingers softly through her hair. As usual, it makes her sleepy and if she wasn’t pressed against Kira she would’ve missed her words completely. As it is, she felt her speak but didn’t catch everything she said.
“What?” Malia mumbles.
“Sorry. I didn’t think you were sleeping,” the other girl stops her fingers for a second but Malia squirms in her arms until Kira gets the message and continues her soothing touches.
“I like this” she purrs, kissing the spot where Kira’s neck meets her shoulder then slowly going up until she catches her lips. Kira opens up to her, slides her tongue along the seam of Malia’s lips, deepening their kiss as Malia moves to straddle her.
Malia wants to keep going, to keep kissing Kira until they’re breathless, to keep touching her bare skin until Kira is moaning, but first things first. “What were you saying before?” she asks looking down at her girlfriend who opens her eyes at the question.
“It’s not important now, let’s go back to kissing”, Kira replies running her hands up Malia’s thighs until they are resting on her hips.
“Come on. I want to know”, says Malia tracing lightly with her index finger down Kira’s breasts.
Malia knows she’s won when Kira just sighs and gazes up at her “We should go on a road trip. If you want, obviously. It would be a nice thing to do, I mean we’ve been together for almost 7 months, maybe we should do it.”
Malia bites her bottom lip to stop herself from smiling. She’s not sure if she had ever seen Kira look so nervous apart from their first date. She leans down, her hands moving slowly up until they are cupping Kira’s face. Malia pecks Kira on her chin, her lips, her nose, her forehead, her temple, her left ear. Her girlfriend shivers when Malia whispers “I wouldn’t miss that road trip for the world.”
All other thoughts about road trips are forgotten as they kiss again. This time nothing stops them from going further.
